Elon Musk has claimed to be a 3,000-year-old time-traveling alien attempting to return to his home planet. This comes after several bold statements this year, including his support for Donald Trump in the presidential election. After Trump’s victory, Musk was appointed head of the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Although not an official government entity, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is set to review the federal budget from an external perspective, with Musk promising to cut $2 trillion.
Just when things seemed strange enough, Musk has now taken it up a notch, claiming to be a 3,000-year-old time-traveling vampire alien.
The Tesla CEO often posts on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter), and recently shared a meme joking about playing his bagpipes at 2:30 AM after a neighbor knocked on his door. A user replied, asking if he doesn’t sleep because he’s a vampire. In response, Musk referenced an earlier tweet where he claimed to be a 3,000-year-old vampire, adding that he is also a time-traveling alien.
Other users on X have also responded to Musk’s latest claims. One asked, “ELON WHY ARE YOU STILL AWAKE?” while another joked, “Elon has memes on standby for any situation lmao.” A third person commented, “It’s nice knowing that Elon also has insomnia like the rest of us.”
Regarding Musk’s new role, Trump stated that DOGE will carry out a “complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government” and make recommendations for major reforms. Musk himself said the initiative would “send shockwaves through the system” and expose government waste.
The department will be temporary, concluding on July 4, 2026, the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Trump has described a more efficient government as a “gift” to the nation on that day.
At a rally, Trump explained Musk’s role, saying, “I don’t think I can get him full-time because he’s a little bit busy sending rockets up and all the things he does. He said the waste in this country is crazy. And we’re going to get Elon Musk to be our cost-cutter.”
